Chronic Back and Neck Pain

The sacrum is the anchor of the pelvis and spinal column for the brain. If the sacrum becomes shifted to the left or right it leads to a pull from one hip to the opposite shoulder. This often leads to discomfort located at the low back on one side of the body (Sacroiliac region - SI) and increased tension held at the neck/upper back on the opposite side. This can also be said for slipped discs. Until the brain is made aware of the misalignment of the sacrum, the pain will keep returning.
